Split vob files – Reauthor dvd

Vob Splitter is a user friendly freeware application designed to split large vob files into several smaller vob files. You can quite easily Reauthor a new DVD by using the VIDEO_TS folder from a DVD recorded on a DVD/HDD Recorder as your source. Then with Vob Splitter all you have to do is set the size of split 210Mb and make sure the file name starts VTS-01 and select save. Insert the new split (VTS_01_1, VTS_01_2, etc.) vob files making sure to keep the core files of the previous DVD, in this VIDEO_TS folder. Then you can burn this folder with ImgBurn. This is one way I have found to Reauthor a new DVD.

Blue highlighted files are the core files that you want to keep. All I have done is copy& paste a VIDEO_TS folder from a DVD recorded on my DVD/HDD Recorder on to my PC harddrive and then deleted the VOB Files (VTS_01_01, VTS_02_02, etc).

Yellow highlighted files are the modified (edited, merged and split) VOB files that have been inserted.
